Grateful

I am GRATEFUL!!

1. warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefitsreceived; thankful: I am grateful to you for your help.
2. expressing or actuated by gratitude: a grateful letter.
3. pleasing to the mind or senses; agreeable or welcome;refreshing: a grateful breeze.
Today I am grateful for many things. It is a beautiful fall season. And I think it is the richest season of them all. Harvest season. Prelude to Christmas season. Hunting season. The rich color season. And more!

  • I am grateful for the sunshine streaming through my window. Though I am afflicted with a gentle cold, I am warm and relaxed.

  • I am grateful for my family. Each and everyone one of them is dear to me. Mom, Dad, Holly, Peter, Savannah, Faith, and Hope. My life would not be as rich without every single one of you. I pray that come what may we stick together and grow closer through our trials and our triumphs.
  • I am grateful for my roommates. Susie, Lena, and Jeff in the basement. We are a little family. And I love our late gatherings in the kitchen.
  • I am grateful that Lena taught me some Russian yesterday. As we visited Pumpkinland. (her first corn maze) And ran errands, I learned to say 'I love you' and 'You are my sunshine' in russian.
  • I am grateful for the 5 dates I went on this week. I was kept on my toes all week long, and it was a lot of fun getting to know some new guys.
  • I am grateful for my dear cousin Ben. We have grown so close and I love him so much. I am excited to share the hunting adventures with him, and master a skill set together.
  • I am grateful for the deer that stubbornly insist on devouring my poor Grantpa's crop; that we received a total of 6 permits this year. That I can master the gutting and butchering of a deer, and put meat in my family's freezers.
  • I am grateful to Chase Palfreyman. Though I try to hate him, I am grateful for everything I have learned since knowing him. Hunting, shooting, history, healing, PATIENCE and more. (I'm sure he doesn't read this, so anyone who does, and knows him. Please don't tell him. I'd rather he thinks I've moved on completely and am doing my best to hate him.)
  • I am grateful for the scents of fall. For the candles I have burning all the time at home. For the crunchy leaves outside. For the end of season and the drying out in the fields. For the dust. For the cinnamon. For the rain. For the warm blankets out of the dryer.
  • I am grateful for sunflower seeds. They are a great-ever-present snack in my life. A lot of work for the little reward of that great taste. A low calorie munchie.
  • I am grateful for my testimony in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • I am grateful for the opportunity to listen to General Conference last week. And the upcoming ensign to read and reread the teachings of the living apostles.
  • I am grateful for my new friend Missy. She came over to help Susie last night, and spent hours of service helping each of us girls in different ways.
  • I'm so grateful for my Sub Zero family. Marianne, Jasmine, Tiani, and Taylor. You help me be a better manager, and a better person. I wish the best for each and everyone one of you. And I love working with all of you!
  • I am grateful for the Logan kiddos. They make me so happy, and I love every second I get to spend with you.
  • I am grateful for Royal, Jenn, Shiloh and Rachel. You are my dear friends and supporters. You are wonderful examples to me. And always there. I know I can call on each of you if I need to.

  • I am grateful for the forgiveness of my loyal (at least I think they're loyal) blog readers. Please keep the faith, let me know you're there, and share with me what you are grateful for this Sabbath day!

We've had a rodent problem lately. This pumpkin came in, and I think it looks like a mouse took refuge in the warts. :)

In blogging as in journaling; for me once I get behind and feel intimidated to try and catch up... I don't. And then get further and further behind. To catch up this time I will just share photos and captions of what's been going on.
My bestie little sister Faith turned 14 on sunday. We had a lovely day.  I love Faith Christine Taylor so much!! The following is a montage of photos I took of photos of her. :D I love you Faithy!

I love her!

Faith was definitely our chunkiest kiddo in the family, but that is not indication of anything.
She is now the most darlingest athletic-est out of us all! :D

We cutie make each other laughs!

New sunday dresses and Faith wants to be like her big sisters.

So Cute!

She was such a daredevil when it came to the trampoline.
I remember Peter teaching her how to do a FLIP when she was just 3 or 4!!

I've always thought I was closest to her. And I like the proof of that in this picture. :)

Pumpkinland!

Bless her heart, Tresa has been helping Faith realize her potential for over a decade now!
I am so forever grateful for her investment in Faith.

Easter time. Baby bunnies. Happy dresses.
Pumpkinland!

Yes. I love all my sisters.

Boo Hoo Hoo

Yeah yeah. I'm like 6 days behind my goal for the 60 best days of my year. Whatev. I'll catch up soon enough. It's 2 am right now. I've taken my sleepy things and they aren't making me sleepy. Love life, life isn't always easy. I know it's worth it. My climb just got a little steep this week. Like I said before, tough. I'll catch up. Sorry for anyone who was getting to love my posts. Sit on the edge of their seat kind of posts. I'll talk to you soon. Holla.
